Job summary

Nestlé in Warsaw is seeking a Junior Inventory Analyst to define optimal inventory levels for Finished Goods, Semi-Finished Goods and Raw & Pack materials. You will collaborate with planners and cross-functional teams to balance inventories, lead times, capacity and cost decisions, ensuring efficient supply chain operations.

You will report to the Supply Chain Modelling Team Lead and contribute to inventory risk management, data analysis and reporting on trends and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or Economics.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning and trade-offs between service level and cost.
• 2+ years in supply planning and inventory management in a multinational environment.
• Expertise in inventory optimization, replenishment strategies, and control techniques.
• Ability to interact and influence internal stakeholders with integrity.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Define inventory strategy in collaboration with concurrent planners and DSP managers.
• Establish optimal inventory levels for FG, Semi-Finished Goods, and Raw & Pack materials.
• Identify opportunities to reduce inventory holding costs through optimized storage, transportation, and order quantity strategies.
• Segment portfolio and manage high-value items.
• Provide regular reports and analysis on inventory trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensure inventory data quality compliance.
• Collaborate with planners to balance inventories, lead times, capacity, and cost decisions.
• Develop and implement inventory risk management strategies.
