Job summary

NIQ is seeking an Insight Analyst to join The Retail Insight Centre of Excellence and support NIQ retailer teams across Western Europe. You will analyze sales and consumer data, prepare tables, charts, and presentations, and deliver insights to help clients grow in WE markets.

You'll work with internal stakeholders, maintain strong client relationships, and develop storytelling skills. Fluent English and strong Excel/PowerPoint are required; familiarity with NielsenIQ/GfK data is a plus.

Qualifications

  • University degree or finalizing education in Business/Marketing/Economics/Statistics or related field.
  • Aptitude and aspirations to build trust and relationships with internal stakeholders, and to develop presentation and storytelling skills.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent communication in English - verbal and written (at least C1 level).
  • Knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
  • Strong time- and workload management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ease of working in a multicultural setting and a virtual environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
  • Interest in the Retail industry.

We are currently looking for a motivatedInsight Analystto join our team,tosupportlocal NIQretailersteam across Western Europe.In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders across one or moremarkets, helping them make better decisions based on research and sales data.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You are curiousof retailindustry in FMCG and/or Tech & Durablescategories..You are good atidentifyingtrends and patterns that build a bigger picture; you find satisfaction in understanding the reasons behind processes and events. You like working with numbers and finding ways to make your work smarter and more efficient. Managing time and deadlines comes naturally to you.

Youwill make a difference by helping some of the largestWestern Europeanmarketsmake the right choices for their growth strategies. You will partner with your colleagues and support theclients to discover what is happening with theircategories andbrands and what they should do to improve business performance.

Qualifications

University degree orfinalizingeducation in Business/Marketing/Economics/Statistics or relatedfield.

Very goodknowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Interest in the Retail industry.

Anypreviousworking experience with Tech & Durable, Retail, or market research industry, as well as knowledge of Nielsen IQ/GfK data and systems would be considered a big advantage.
