Job summary

NIQ is seeking a motivated Junior Insight Analyst to support WE/global FMCG and T&D clients by turning sales and consumer data into actionable insights. You will work with internal stakeholders across categories and contribute to client meetings and presentations while developing storytelling and presentation skills.

You will build partnerships, manage analytical pipelines, and help translate findings into meaningful business recommendations that align with client priorities and NIQ goals.

Qualifications

  • University degree or finalizing education in Business/Marketing/Economics/Statistics or related field
  • Any previous working experience with FMCG, T&D, Retail, or market research industry, as well as knowledge of NielsenIQ/Gfk data and systems would be considered a big advantage
  • An aptitude and aspirations to build trust and relationships with internal stakeholders, and to develop presentation and storytelling skills
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, conditional functions, conditional formatting, chart building, and formatting), PowerPoint
  • Fluent communication in English - verbal and written (at least C1 level)
  • Strong time-& workload management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ease of working in a multicultural setting and a virtual environment
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player
  • Interest in the FMCG, T&D, and/or Retail industry

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Customer Success team at NIQ acts as a strategic partner to our clients, helping them respond faster to changing market dynamics. We specialize in a wide range of food, cosmetics, household products, beverages and other industries, delivering insights and recommendations that are critical to our clients' success.

We are currently looking for a motivated Junior Insight Analyst to join our team, which supports some of the biggest WE/global FMCG and T&D clients. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders across one or more categories on WE/global markets, helping them make better decisions based on research and sales data.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Analysis and interpretation of sales and consumer data to uncover actionable insights across categories and business issues.

Summarizing findings in tables, charts, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and clarity, with full or partial ownership of insight delivery.

Building a strong partnership with your stakeholders and seeking to make an impactby supporting them in delivering meaningful solutions for our clients

REQUIREMENTS

University degree or finalizing education in Business/Marketing/Economics/Statistics or related field

Any previous working experience with FMCG, T&D, Retail, or market research industry, as well as knowledge of NielsenIQ/Gfk data and systems would be considered a big advantage
