Shiji Group in Katowice seeks a Cloud Security Engineer to design and implement security for cloud environments, with emphasis on vulnerability mitigation, threat modelling, and audit reporting.

You will communicate findings, support SOC/NOC during incidents, and assist with security tooling and access management, primarily in AWS with multi-cloud exposure. Strong collaboration and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of commercial experience in a similar position.
• Basic understanding of cloud environments (90% AWS, 10% multi-cloud).
• Basic understanding of cloud-related risks and IaC concepts.
• Linux working knowledge and basic CI/CD security concepts.
• Knowledge of cloud security audit methodologies.
• Strong communication skills.

Primary responsibilities include internal communication of findings, performing basic security audits, threat modelling, creating audit reports, technical documentation of security requirements, supporting SOC/NOC during incidents, and assisting with security tools implementation and access management.

• Cooperate and substantively support the team in fixing security issues.
• Support SOC/NOC Team during security incidents.
• Assist with security tools implementation and maintenance.
• Help manage access among various cloud environments.

Technologies

• Security related: Prowler, PMapper, Viz, Nmap.
• Cloud related: AWS, Tencent, Aliyun, Oracle Cloud, WAF, Terraform, Python, Linux operating system and services.

Requirements

Location

We are looking for candidates based in the Silesia region, office in Katowice. Fully remote work is not an option, and applications from more distant locations will not be considered.
