Job summary

Citi Solutions Center Poland is seeking an Investment Banking Junior Controller to support daily P&L and Balance Sheet reporting, ensuring data integrity across Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, and Mergers & Acquisitions.

You will work with cross-functional teams, apply analytical skills, and participate in standardization projects to improve control processes. This role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities for growth within Citi's finance organization.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, controlling, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Excel; Tableau and KNIME would be an advantage.
• Interest in investment banking products and industry trends.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end Banking Controllers processes, including daily P&L and Balance Sheet prep acrossDebt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, and M&A.
• Identify and escalate issues to drive process improvements.
• Participate in standardization efforts and strategic/ad-hoc projects to improve Citi’s Banking Control systems.
• Bring a collaborative and proactive attitude to work with colleagues for results.
• Leverage attention to detail and organized work style to support the team.
• Assist in solving issues and provide support for broader business challenges.
• Conduct analyses using data tools and apply best practices to routine tasks.
• Assess risks in business decisions and maintain Citi’s standards of integrity.
