Job summary

Citi Solutions Center Poland is seeking a proactive Investment Banking Junior Controller to support data integrity, GL reconciliation, and P&L and Balance Sheet reporting across Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, and Mergers & Acquisitions.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, controlling, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Tableau and KNIME would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end Banking Controllers processes, including daily P&L and Balance Sheet preparation across key business segments: Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, and Mergers & Acquisitions.
• Identify and escalate issues promptly, focusing on recurring items to drive process improvements.
• Participate in standardization efforts and work on strategic and ad-hoc projects to improve Citi’s Banking Control systems and processes.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to achieve results.
