Job summary

NobleCorp in Poland is seeking a Junior GL Specialist to support month-end close, prepare accurate financial reporting, and perform reconciliations for a defined set of entities under the guidance of more experienced colleagues. The role requires up to 2 years in finance, good Excel skills, basic ERP exposure, and communicative English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or in progress).
• Up to 2 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Good Excel skills and basic ERP system exposure.
• Communicative English, both written and oral.
• Attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and service-minded attitude.

Responsibilities

• Produce month end-end and year-end financial reporting numbers
• Manage a defined scope of entities or low-complexity companies
• Maintain accruals, prepayments, and account reconciliations
• Ensure accurate reconciliation between general and sub-ledgers
• Assist with journal entries and basic general ledger functions
• Maintain balance sheet integrity through timely matching, documentation collection, and resolution of aged or unreconciled items
• Process transactional activities, queries, and open items in a timely and customer-focused manner
• Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Build strong working relationships with local finance teams and stakeholders in Gdańsk

Job description

Junior GL Specialist possess an analytical mindset, strong organizational skills, and a desire to learn. They are detail-oriented and provide essential support in ensuring timely and accurate accounting, period-end activities and reconciliations of accounts in accordance with internal policies and external regulations. This role focuses on a limited number of legal entities or those with lower complexity and operates under the guidance of more experienced colleagues.
