Cognizant Technology Solutions Poland Sp. z o.o. in Kraków is seeking a Junior GIS Data Configuration Specialist to drive data processing workflows for partner-provided content.

You will ensure real-time information such as road closures is ingested, processed, and displayed accurately, and will communicate with data providers when issues arise. You will analyze incoming data structures (JSON/XML), translate third-party data into the platform format, and collaborate with partners to troubleshoot

Responsibilities

• Configure new requests to translate third-party data into the platform's internal format for visualization and optimization.
• Analyze the structure of incoming data (e.g., JSON, XML) to derive actionable insights.
• Collaborate with partners to troubleshoot, test, and fix data issues.
• Apply foundational GIS knowledge to verify correct spatial features on the map.
• Query data using SQL for analysis and validation.
• Investigate and troubleshoot configuration errors.
• Execute standard data analysis and processing workflows.
• Demonstrate attention to detail in all tasks.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Identify systemic problems and contribute to tool/process improvements.
• Contribute to root-cause failure analysis.
