Job summary

ROCKWOOL USA INC. seeks a Junior GDPR Specialist to join the Poznań legal team. You will support global privacy efforts, assist in shaping data protection practices, and work with local counsels and privacy coordinators across the ROCKWOOL Group.

You will drive privacy initiatives, perform assessments, and help ensure compliance with GDPR and related laws. The role offers a hybrid office setup in Poznań and opportunities for professional growth within an international environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in law or related field required or strongly preferred.
• Experience in a similar GDPR/compliance role in an international company.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts to non-lawyers.
• Ability to work independently and in a multicultural environment.
• Willingness to travel periodically for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Advise on data protection requirements and standards across the business, with emphasis on digital solutions.
• Provide legal counsel on data processing activities, transfers, and privacy risks worldwide.
• Support new business initiatives to ensure privacy compliance.
• Collaborate with IT, HR, Procurement, and legal advisers across the organization.
• Conduct privacy impact assessments and data mapping with internal tools.
• Monitor data sharing and ensure transfer mechanisms comply with laws.
• Update policies, manuals, and templates and implement improvements.
• Deliver data protection training and raise privacy awareness.
