Job summary

Aptiv Krakow is seeking a finance professional to ensure US GAAP and local accounting and tax treatment for entities in its scope. You will manage timely JVs, accruals, posting instructions, invoicing, and month-end closing activities.

The role requires a Master in Accountancy/Finance, strong Excel, and fluency in English, with knowledge of SAP or HFM being a plus. You will support budgeting, forecasting, and rebilling of shared costs across EMEA, and back up team members as needed.

• Masters degree with major Accountancy, Finance, Economics
• Knowledge of accounting standards
• Experience on similar position is nice to have
• Excellent analytical skills
• Very good MS Excel skills
• Knowledge of SAP, HFM is nice to have
• Fluent English
• Very good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper US GAAP and local accounting/tax treatment for balance sheet and P&L for the entities in scope.
• Timely preparation of assigned accounting activities - e.g. JVs preparation, accruals calculation, providing posting instruction, issuing invoices, assigned financial month end closing activities.
• Preparation of Budgets and Forecasts, Actual reporting and other analysis related to rebilling of Aptiv shared costs in EMEA region.
• Actual reporting, Forecast and Budget preparation, Actual/Forecast vs Budget analysis for multiple EMEA Corporate shared functions.
• Timely and accurately preparation of standards reports (e.g. OI, Restructuring, FX Exposure, Act/Forecast vs Budget, variants comparisons).
• Prepare/provide other ad-hoc calculations, reports and presentations depending on corporate needs within the area of team responsibilities.
• Back-up other team members in areas indicated by supervisor
• Performing other tasks related to team responsibilities upon Supervisor's request
• On-time execution of assigned tasks in compliance with the valid quality system for Aptiv corporation and Technical Center in Krakow
