Job summary

BOS Innovation and Technology Center in Katowice is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to create 3D CATIA V5 models and 2D drawings for automotive components. You will maintain engineering documentation in PDM/PLM systems and apply GD&T to ensure precision.

You will also implement ECOs, update BOMs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout development and manufacturing processes. A technical degree and CATIA V5 expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Technical education in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• CATIA V5 proficiency for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
• Experience with GD&T and PLM/PDM systems.
• Good collaboration and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create and update 3D CATIA V5 models and 2D drawings per standards.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation in PDM/PLM systems.
• Support design and development activities for automotive components.
• Apply GD&T to technical documentation.
• Implement ECOs and update BOMs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on solutions.
• Support prototype and sample build activities.
• Contribute to product improvement and continuous development.
