Job summary

Société Générale in Warsaw seeks a Junior Credit Analyst to support credit processes for Polish corporate clients. You will prepare credit applications, write concise credit analyses, and ensure compliance with internal policies across various sectors.

You will collaborate with business partners in Warsaw and distant teams, monitor portfolios, and contribute to accurate credit recommendations in a fast-paced international environment.

Qualifications

• You have knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
• You have an economics university degree or you are a student of economics.
• You have at least minimum experience in corporate credit analysis.
• You know English very well.
• You can write a concise summary of an analysis.

Responsibilities

• Preparing credit applications for Polish companies from different sectors.

• Commenting on terms and conditions (structure, amount, collateral).
• Issuing an autonomous credit opinion and giving a recommendation.
• Launching credit applications in the electronic tool for signatures.
• Assigning obligor ratings and uploading them in the company tool.
• Monitoring of the assigned credit portfolio.

Responsibilities

As a Junior Credit Analyst you will closely cooperate with business partners in Warsaw. Your day-to-day job will consist of preparing credit applications for Polish corporate clients. Your future scope of responsibility will cover:

• Preparing credit applications (annual reviews/interim credit requests/credit opinions etc.) for Polish companies from different sectors in compliance with guidelines, procedures and timelines
• Writing a clear and concise credit analysis based on a general study of the counterparty and the understanding of the proposed transaction (nature of the line, maturity, amount)
• Checking the compliance of the credit request with the existing company policies
• Commenting on the terms and conditions as appropriate (structure, amount, collateral, credit matters defined in the legal documentation)
• Issuing an autonomous credit opinion and giving a relevant recommendation
• Launching credit applications in company electronic tool for signatures and collecting the appropriate sign-offs
• Assigning obligor ratings and uploading it in company tool
• Monitoring of assigned credit portfolio

Profile required

• You will be most successful in the role if:
