Job summary

SGS is seeking a Junior Clinical Data Operator in Katowice to support data management for clinical and cosmetic studies. You will learn our data-management processes and gradually take responsibility for study-related activities.

You will work with a remote, international team, ensuring data quality, documentation, and queries are handled with guidance from experienced colleagues. The role offers onboarding, extensive benefits, and a fast remote recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data/information management or related field.
• Fluent German and English at C1 level.
• Strong attention to detail with structured data and documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Able to learn new databases and digital tools quickly.
• Good organizational skills and deadline management.
• Proactive with strong communication; works in remote, international team.
• Reliable with data confidentiality awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support data-management activities for clinical and cosmetic studies, following procedures and timelines.
• Assist with preparing and maintaining study documentation, including CRFs/eCRFs and data-management docs.
• Review study data for completeness, consistency and quality using EDC and approved tools.
• Identify data discrepancies and help prepare data queries with guidance from experienced colleagues.
• Support database testing and verification of study forms/reports.
• Assist with data cleaning, reconciliation and preparation of quality-controlled datasets for statistics and reporting.
• Perform routine data checks and basic programming activities with approved tools and training.
• Maintain accurate records of data-management activities and changes.
• Work with clinical, statistical and operational colleagues, communicating progress and issues.
• Contribute to improving data-management processes and ways of working.
• Handle confidential study data per SGS requirements.
