Job summary

Ericsson GmbH in Poland is seeking a Junior Developer to join the team focused on developing a UE Simulator for 5G readiness. You will participate in an agile environment, configuring and testing simulators on hardware while collaborating with internal users and other engineers.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding in Python with potential exposure to C/C++ and Java, embedded systems, RF concepts and Linux environments. A hybrid work setup is offered with at least three days in the office.

Qualifications

• Must have Python; C/C++ and Java are a plus.
• Familiarity with LTE or 5G network standards.
• Knowledge of RF propagation, modulation schemes and signal processing.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and hardware interaction.
• Multithreading and multi-core programming for simulating data links.
• Proficiency in Linux.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an agile team that contributes to development of a UE Simulator.
• Configure and test simulators on the underlying hardware to ensure reliable behavior.
• Support Ericsson internal users with a key 5G product.
• Participate in analysis, system design, pre-development and implementation in small increments with short feedback loops.
