Job summary

People More in Kraków offers remote-friendly backend development with Kotlin and Spring Boot. You will join a small, international team delivering diverse projects for local and global clients, focusing on clean code and scalable services.

We expect 1–3 years of commercial software development, Kotlin or Java willingness, REST/microservices basics, and strong English and Polish. You’ll work in Agile with code reviews, TDD, and an AI-assisted environment, with fully remote options.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience in software development (1-3 years preferred).
• Knowledge of Kotlin or strong Java experience with willingness to work in Kotlin.
• Understanding of Spring Boot fundamentals.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Very good English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Support backend services development using Kotlin and Spring Boot.
• Participate in implementing new functionalities within the Accounting Engine platform.
• Collaborate with senior developers and architects on technical solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews and software quality initiatives.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and technical discussions.
• Write and maintain automated tests.

Your duties will include:

• Support the development of backend services using Kotlin and Spring Boot
• Participate in implementing new functionalities within the Accounting Engine platform
