Job summary

EY GDS Poland is seeking a Junior Auditor with German to join EY’s Assurance Audit Team in Poland. The role involves developing relationships with global EY teams and supervising delivery of GDS engagement support across Europe, with flexible virtual or on-site collaboration.

The position offers hands-on experience in finance and audit, exposure to EY tools, and learning international accounting and assurance principles. Hybrid schedule: 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.

Qualifications

• German language proficiency at a communicative level (minimum B2).
• 0–1 years of relevant work experience in basic accounting.
• Availability to work at least 40 hours per week.
• Openness to fixed-term employment contract.
• Ability to start working in December.
• Basis knowledge of MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Gain comprehensive hands-on experience in finance and audit and develop alongside professionals.
• Work on joint projects with EY's global engagement teams and build relationships.
• Use tools such as EY Canvas, EY Helix, EY Atlas and AI solutions.
• Perform and document assigned audit procedures accurately following EY methodology.
• Learn about clients, processes and risks and report accounting issues clearly.
• Contribute ideas for improving review procedures and support the team.
