Job summary

Getinge in Kraków, Poland seeks an RTR Accountant to join our finance team. You will drive reliable RTR processes, ensure timely closing, and support internal controls within a multinational environment.

Key duties include journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany activity, and reporting using Cognos, with a focus on accuracy and deadlines. Fluency in English and strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in SSC accounting is preferred.
• English proficiency (written and spoken) at least B2 level.
• Financial accounting knowledge and ability to work with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of assigned RTR activities in line with defined deadlines
• Process financial transactions, including Journal Entries, Fixed Assets postings, and bank statement accounting
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure proper resolution of outstanding items
• Manage intercompany accounting activities, including AP invoice processing, AR invoice issuance, intercompany reconciliation (ICR), and netting settlements
• Prepare Balance Sheet and Income Statement reports using Cognos
• Support month-end closing activities and ensure compliance with internal control requirements
• Prepare daily, periodic, and ad-hoc reports as requested by stakeholders
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and support ongoing projects within RTR scope
• Contribute to the creation, update, and maintenance of process documentation
• Collaborate closely with Business Partners and internal team members to ensure efficient workflow and issue resolution

Our requirements:

• Economic background education (finance/accounting/economy/controlling)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• English (written and oral) - required min. B2 level
• Experience in accounting in SSC environment and/or knowledge of SAP are nice to have
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Analytical mindset and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and toward deadlines.
