Job summary

Hiab in Poland is offering a 1.5-year contract for a Junior Accountant to gain hands-on experience in end-to-end document processing and invoice handling. You will learn how a major international manufacturing company operates and contribute to daily financial tasks.

You will post and code invoices in ERP, settle travel expenses, monitor payments, and assist in reconciling ledgers. English skills and basic accounting knowledge are required, with a detail‑oriented, proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Around 1 year of introductory accounting experience would be advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Office and spreadsheets.
• Communicative English skills (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Post, code, and verify diverse invoices in the ERP and electronic document flow systems.
• Settle business travel expenses, company expenditures, and employee settlements.
• Monitor accounts payable, track payments, and resolve balance discrepancies with vendors.
• Assist Chief Accountant with reconciling sub-ledgers to the general ledger and inventory counts.
• Prepare routine accounting analyses and reports, including unposted invoices status.
• Archive documents and collaborate with other departments to maintain workflow.
