Hiab is seeking a Junior Accountant in Stargard, Poland, on a 1.5-year contract. You will handle end-to-end document processing, including cost invoices across tax rates and travel/employee expense settlements, gaining practical experience in a major international manufacturing company.

Ideal candidates have secondary education in finance/accounting or related fields, about 1 year of introductory accounting, and good knowledge of MS Office and English.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary education (a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is an advantage).
• Around 1 year of introductory accounting experience would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and proficiency in MS Office.
• Communicative English skills (both written and spoken).
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, dependability, and an eagerness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Posting, coding, and verifying diverse invoices and operating the ERP and electronic document flow systems.
• Settling business travel expenses, company expenditures, and employee settlements.
• Monitoring accounts payable, tracking payments, and resolving balance discrepancies with vendors.
• Supporting the Chief Accountant with reconciling sub-ledgers to the general ledger and assisting during inventory counts.
• Preparing routine accounting analyses and reports, including monitoring the status of unposted invoices.
• Archiving documentation and collaborating with other departments to maintain efficient document workflow.
