Job summary

InPost is seeking a Java Software Engineer to join our team and influence product development across a scalable backend system. You will design and implement microservices, contribute to architecture, and ensure reliable deployments in a global, production environment.

The role requires strong Java expertise, hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud familiarity (GCP or equivalent). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive improvements in performance and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong Java development experience.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
• Practical knowledge of Apache Kafka and REST APIs.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP or equivalent).
• Knowledge of Git, Maven/Gradle, Jira, Confluence and CI/CD practices.
• Ownership mindset and ability to deliver high-quality solutions independently.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• English proficiency at B2/C1 level or higher.
