Job summary

InPost Group is seeking a Java Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain backend applications and microservices across a global setup. You will contribute to system architecture, deliver scalable features, and ensure reliability in production environments.

The role focuses on building high-quality solutions with Kafka, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms, while collaborating with cross-functional squads and Product Managers in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

  • Around 5 years of commercial software development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
  • Practical knowledge of Apache Kafka and REST APIs.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of Git, Maven/Gradle, Jira, Confluence and CI/CD practices.
  • Ownership mindset and ability to deliver high-quality solutions independently.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • English proficiency at B2/C1 level or higher.
