Job summary

Luxoft Poland in Kraków is seeking a software engineer to join the ACQA Engines Crew. You will contribute to a cloud-native analytics and risk platform built with Python, Java, and Scala, collaborating with traders, risk managers and finance users.

You will work across Python at scale, JVM languages, Spark, and AI-assisted development, with a focus on robust, production-grade software, testing and DevOps practices in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Deep software engineering background with experience across languages and paradigms.
• Ability to design and implement bullet-proof software in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in the ACQA Engines Crew under the IB Risk Technology Stream.
• Develop analytics and risk platform components using Python, Java, Scala and Spark.
• Work with traders, risk managers and finance users to deliver scalable solutions.
• Implement testing, CI/CD and DevOps practices for production-grade software.
