Job summary

Luxoft in Wrocław is seeking software engineers to join the ACQA Engines Crew within the IB Risk Technology Stream. You’ll help build ACQA, a cloud-native analytics platform centered on Python, with Java/Scala for core workloads.

You will work with a global team of about 60 engineers delivering tools for risk and PnL across investment banking. You’ll contribute to data processing on large datasets using Spark, and collaborate with traders and risk managers to ship robust software in an agile

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering background with multiple languages and paradigms.
• Deep experience in Java and JVM languages at scale, with testing discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Spark or similar data-focused work on large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Develop bullet-proof software in a fast-paced environment with robust testing.
• Build and tune Spark jobs operating on massive datasets for risk analytics.
• Collaborate with traders and risk managers to deliver platform capabilities.
