Job summary

A leading international bank is seeking a full-stack developer to join their Data and Insights team in Kraków. You will work on designing and implementing web-based applications while ensuring adherence to coding standards. Ideal candidates will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, and experience with Google Cloud Platform. Job description

You will join Data and Insights team responsible for global reporting across the business, technology and transformation operations. Our purpose is to support effective decision making through the provision of relevant and accurate data & insights, covering the full operations of the bank from financial management, manpower planning, delivery tracking through to service resilience and stability.

What will you do:

• Work independently and as part of a cross-country team to design, develop, test and implement web-based applications. Support Data and Insights team in migration of current reporting suite from vendor BI technology out to cloud.
• Mentor other team members, providing guidance and knowledge transfer to facilitate smooth technology stack change.
• Follow IT development methodologies, corporate information security aligned to product owner vision to ensure successful delivery with strict adherence to coding practices and the production of all necessary documentation

• Hybrid work: 6 days per month from the office in Cracow

Skills:

• A proven track of record of delivering large scale web applications in full-stack roles with microservice based architecture
• Excellent knowledge of Java (Java17+ preferrable) along with Spring / Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
• Excellent knowledge of ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript etc.
• Experience of Google Cloud Platformis a must
• Experience in working with relational databases / data warehouses (e.g. PostgreSQL, BiqQuery, AlloyDB)
• Experience in working with Git and SCM systems (e.g. GitHub)
• Understanding of CI/CD

Nice to have:

• Experience in data visualisation (using tools like Apache ECharts)
