Job summary

HeadHR poszukuje programisty do zespołu działającego dla jednego z największych banków. Praca obejmuje tworzenie backendu i lekkich komponentów frontend, bliską współpracę z zespołem i interesariuszami, a także wytwarzanie stabilnych wydań w środowisku CI/CD.

Wymagana jest chęć nauki wielu języków programowania (Kotlin, JavaScript, Python) oraz znajomość baz danych i RESTful API. Preferowane jest doświadczenie w jednym języku i znajomość Unix lub .NET/C# będą dodatkowym atutem.

Qualifications

• Chęć nauki wielu języków programowania – zarówno po stronie serwerowej, jak i frontend.
• Udokumentowane doświadczenie w jednym języku: Kotlin, JavaScript lub Python.
• Znajomość baz danych z perspektywy użytkownika: MongoDB, Redis i PostgreSQL.
• Znajomość API HTTP, RESTful.
• Mile widziane: .NET i C# oraz Unix.

Responsibilities

• Ściśle współpracować z deweloperami, testerami i zespołami w celu tworzenia i utrzymania produktów w produkcji.
• Projektować i rozwijać backend oraz lekkie komponenty frontend, zgodnie z backlogiem.
• Współpracować z inżynierią przy wprowadzaniu nowych funkcji do produkcji.
• Angażować użytkowników i interesariuszy, rozwiązywać problemy i obsługiwać żądania funkcji.
• Budować API i mikroserwisy z realnym zastosowaniem biznesowym.
• Dostarczanie częstych i stabilnych wydań w CI/CD.

What you will do:

• Work closely with developers, testers, and teams across the organisation to build, run, and improve products in production
• Design, develop, and deliver both backend and lightweight frontend features based on the backlog and priorities; the UI layer is intentionally simple and not classic frontend heavy work
• Partner with the engineering team to shape, build, and release new features from idea to production
• Engage directly with users and stakeholders to solve real problems, handle issues, and respond to feature requests
• Build APIs and microservices that address concrete business needs and have visible impact
• Deliver frequent, reliable releases in an agile CI/CD setup, keeping a steady and sustainable development pace

• Client: lead international bank
• Recruitment process: 2 meetings with hiring managers, followed by a phone screen with our recruiter
• Hybrid work: 6 days per month from the office in Cracow

Skills

• Willingness to learn multiple programming languages for both server and frontend development
• Demonstratable experience of one language: Kotlin, Javascript or Python
• Must understand databases from a consumer point of view, such as MongoDB, Redis and PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of HTTP APIs, e.g. RESTful APIs

Nice to have

• Knowledge of .NET and C#
• Working knowledge of Unix
