Sii Poland in Kraków is seeking an experienced Java Developer with GCP knowledge to join a new team responsible for the Collateral Management Platform. The role is based in Kraków with a hybrid work model and occasional office visits.

You will develop and maintain microservices in Java 17/Spring Cloud, collaborate with a global team, and contribute to API design and REST integrations, while embracing agile practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring framework.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with RESTful services and API design.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Willingness to work from the Kraków office two days per week.
• Advanced level of English.

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with GCP knowledge to join a new team based in Krakow, responsible for developing and supporting the Collateral Management Platform. This platform is critical for the bank's regulatory compliance and enables the Collateral Operations Team to manage risk and perform daily margining functions for thousands of clients globally. You will work in a microservices environment utilizing Java 17 and Spring Cloud, collaborating with a global team of 90 professionals. The role offers a hybrid work model, with office visits required a few times a month.

Your tasks

• Developing and maintaining microservices for the Collateral Management Platform


• Collaborating with global teams to deliver production changes on a weekly basis


• Implementing new features and optimizing existing functionalities


• Supporting the integration of the platform with other systems using REST and other interfaces


• Participating in code reviews and contributing to best practices


• Engaging in an agile development process to adapt to evolving project needs

Requirements
