Job summary

Sii Poland in Kraków is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join a new team building and supporting the Collateral Management Platform for a global bank. The role involves working in a microservices environment with Java 17 and Spring Cloud, collaborating with a global team of professionals.

You will participate in code reviews, implement new features, and help integrate the platform with REST interfaces, while embracing agile practices in a hybrid work model with periodic office visits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in Java and the Spring framework.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with RESTful services and API design.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Willingness to work from the Kraków office two days per week.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining microservices for the Collateral Management Platform.
• Collaborating with global teams to deliver production changes weekly.
• Implementing new features and optimizing existing functionalities.
• Supporting integration with other systems using REST and other interfaces.
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to best practices.
• Engaging in an agile development process to adapt to evolving project needs.
