Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Java Developer with Google Cloud Platform skills to join a Kraków-based team building and supporting a collateral management platform for a global banking client. The role focuses on microservices with Java 17 and Spring Cloud in a hybrid work model, with office visits a few times per month.

You will collaborate with a global team of around 90 professionals, implement new features, review code, and participate in an agile process to adapt to evolving

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of software development experience.
• Strong Java and Spring framework expertise.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience building microservices and RESTful interfaces.
• Excellent English communications skills.

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with GCP knowledge to join a new team based in Krakow, responsible for developing and supporting the Collateral Management Platform. This platform is critical for the bank's regulatory compliance and enables the Collateral Operations Team to manage risk and perform daily margining functions for thousands of clients globally. You will work in a microservices environment utilizing Java 17 and Spring Cloud, collaborating with a global team of 90 professionals. The role offers a hybrid work model, with office visits required a few times a month.

Your tasks

• Developing and maintaining microservices for the Collateral Management Platform
• Collaborating with global teams to deliver production changes on a weekly basis
• Implementing new features and optimizing existing functionalities
• Supporting the integration of the platform with other systems using REST and other interfaces
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to best practices
• Engaging in an agile development process to adapt to evolving project needs

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in software development
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring framework
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform
• Practical experience in developing microservices architecture
• Familiarity with RESTful services and API design
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Willingness to work from the Kraków office two days per week
• Advanced level of English
