Job summary

Sii Poland in Kraków is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join a team building and maintaining scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. You will work in an Agile environment alongside Application DevOps teams and cross-functional IT stakeholders, driving automation and operational excellence across the cloud ecosystem.

Your tasks include building the GCP platform, engineering cloud infrastructure with Terraform and IaC, and managing IAM, networking, logging, and OS

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years building cloud infrastructure on GCP.
• Expertise in DevOps, IaC (Terraform, Ansible), and automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (VPCs, NAT, routing) and cloud security.
• Proficient in Linux administration and scripting.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• English at a professional level.

Job description

We are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join a team (based in Cracow) responsible for building and maintaining highly resilient, scalable, and high-performing cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. You will work in a collaborative Agile environment alongside Application DevOps teams and cross-functional IT stakeholders, helping to drive automation, innovation, and operational excellence across the cloud ecosystem.

Your tasks

• Building GCP platform to support application deployments
• Engineering cloud infrastructure solutions using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Integrating and managing core GCP services, including IAM, networking, logging, containers, and operating systems
• Ensuring compliance with security, operational risk, availability, monitoring, and resiliency standards
• Supporting CI/CD pipelines, continuous testing, and centralized patch implementation activities
• Troubleshooting and supporting application teams while maintaining operational documentation
• Providing change impact assessments and following change management standards

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience building and configuring cloud infrastructure on GCP
• Strong expertise in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), and automation practices
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, continuous testing, and Agile delivery methodologies
• Understanding of networking, SDN, VPCs, routing, NAT, and cloud security concepts (IAM, OAuth, compliance)
• Proficiency in Linux administration, scripting, and at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Scala, or Groovy)
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
• Ability to deliver complex solutions, drive continuous improvement, and quickly learn new technologies and tools
• Advanced level of English
