Job summary

Our Client, a global leader in access solutions, seeks an experienced Java Developer to join a multi-disciplinary team building the ARX system. You will collaborate with product owners, Front End and FW developers, and system verification teams, and may interact with installers and customers.

The role offers a hybrid work model, good work-life balance and a friendly international atmosphere. 3+ years in Java development is preferred; familiarity with Angular or React is a plus, as is knowledge

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with Java development; emphasis on programming understanding.
• Experience with agile methodologies and TDD is desirable.
• Knowledge of Front End collaboration with Angular/React is a plus.
• Interest in security evaluations, security protocols, and HW (Raspberry Pi) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners and front-end, firmware, and verification teams.
• Contribute to ARX system development and ongoing improvements.
• Engage with installers and customers as needed to clarify requirements.

You will be a part of developing and maintaining a very successful combined alarm and access control system called ARX. The system is based on high security and capacity, scalable and redundant infrastructure.

You would also:

• Have collaboration with product owners, close cooperation with Front End developer but also FW developers and system verification and sometimes direct communication with installers and customers.
• Be a key player of a team of total 10-15 people where there is plenty of opportunity of shaping our journey while learning and developing.
• We are working according to agile methods methodologies and it’s good if you are familiar with TDD.
• 3+ years of experience working with Java Development. The most important is your understanding of programming, not the years as such.
• If you also have been working with Front End (Angular, React, or similar) it’s a merit. Ideally, you would have good knowledge of security evaluations, security protocols and standards, mobile security, and some interest for HW (maybe have done your own nice features with Raspberry Pi)
