Job summary

Sii Poland in Kraków is seeking a Data Engineer with a strong Java background to join a global team responsible for developing a strategic cloud-based risk platform. You will design and operate scalable data pipelines and microservices processing real-time and batch data.

The role emphasizes agile collaboration, REST APIs, logging, monitoring, and DevOps practices. Fluency in English is required, with offices in Cracow offering a modern work environment and opportunities to work with leading

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience with Java and OO design (SOLID/DRY/KISS).
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and related ecosystems.
Proven ability to design scalable data processing pipelines.
Strong track record building REST APIs and distributed applications.
Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
Good understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices (Jenkins, Groovy).
Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

Design secure, scalable data solutions based on business requirements.
Integrate internal systems focusing on efficient data processing and cost optimization.
Develop and maintain blueprints for market data ingestion and processing.
Review and improve data pipelines and microservices.
Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure delivery.
Promote automated testing and test-driven development.
