Job summary

Your ITeams Sp. z o.o. is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join a backend team responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and services.

You will work with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, SQL and Kafka in a cloud-enabled environment to deliver reliable APIs and robust data processing for international partners. The role requires strong technical proficiency, attention to detail and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience working on projects within a development team.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit.
• Practical experience with Kafka and knowledge of topics; Debezium is a plus.
• Experience building data pipelines and data mapping/transformations.
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud services for deployment and operations.
• Familiarity with JSON data format and processing techniques.
• English proficiency for technical documentation and international vendor communications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement and maintain data access layers with Hibernate/JPA and SQL.
• Develop and test components using JUnit to ensure code quality.
• Build and support data pipelines and integration flows using Kafka and Debezium when applicable.
• Create and manage topics and configurations in Kafka/Debezium environments.
• Consume and produce JSON and implement data mapping/transformations.
• Expose functionality via REST APIs and collaborate on API design/documentation.
• Work with Azure cloud services to deploy, monitor and maintain apps.
• Participate in code reviews and team planning sessions.
• Collaborate with international external vendors and ensure clear technical communication.
