Hiberus Poland Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością is seeking a Java Developer to join a backend-focused project. You will contribute to a high-volume message processing system built on Apache Kafka and a microservices architecture, collaborating in a Scrum team.

The role emphasizes feature development, testing, documentation, and performance optimization, with later focus on production issue resolution and operations support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• Practical knowledge of Apache Kafka.
• Experience with Docker and application containerization.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven processing.

Responsibilities

• Implementing new features in line with business requirements.
• Writing unit tests.
• Creating, maintaining, and updating technical documentation.
• Implementing fixes, refactoring code, and optimizing performance.
• Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality.
• Collaborating within a Scrum team and attending planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• In later stages, investigating and resolving production issues and supporting operations.
