William Hill PLC in Kraków is seeking a Software Developer to join our engineering team, building high-performance Java-based platforms for online gaming. You will develop scalable microservices, integrate AI capabilities, and work in a DevOps/Agile environment to deliver reliable systems at scale.

The role emphasizes hands-on Java 17+ development, Spring Boot, cloud-native workflows on AWS/Kubernetes, and contributing to the full software lifecycle. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience developing large-scale backend systems using Java (Java 17+), Spring Boot, microservices and distributed architectures.
• Knowledge of modern AI technologies, including LLM integrations, RAG, AI agents, vector databases, prompt engineering, or AI workflow automation.
• Experience with cloud-native development, including AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD practices, and API development.
• A passion for technology, innovation, and identifying opportunities to use AI to improve products, processes, and developer productivity.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and maintain high-volume, low-latency applications.
• Build scalable backend services using Java and modern microservices architectures.
• Develop and enhance user-facing applications and platform capabilities.
• Integrate AI technologies into production environments.
• Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle, from design through to deployment and support.
• Create clean, efficient, testable code that meets quality, security, and performance standards.
• Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and cloud-native solutions running on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Drive continuous improvement by exploring emerging technologies and contributing to architectural decisions.
