Senior Java Back-end Developer (Fully Remote)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Back-end Developer to join an international team and contribute to large-scale implementation projects. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work with industry-leading organizations and cutting-edge technologies in a global environment.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture

• Design and implement secure RESTful APIs

• Manage database interactions with JPA/Hibernate and optimize performance

• Collaborate with cross-functional, agile teams to achieve project goals

• Participate in architecture and design activities

• Apply CI/CD practices and use version control tools

• Ensure high-quality code through testing and documentation

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java backend development

• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, Spring Boot, microservices

• Hands-on experience with SQL and relational database engines

• Practical knowledge of performance optimization

• Familiarity with Maven or Gradle

• Experience with CI/CD and source code management

• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)

• Experience working in international, agile/scrum teams

• Understanding of Clean Code principles and Unit Testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Science, or related technical field

• 5+ years in a corporate IT environment in a similar role

• Demonstrable experience with Java frameworks commonly used in enterprise projects

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ

• Certifications in Java, Spring, SQL, AWS, or Azure Cloud

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
