Job summary

Online Consulting AG in Wroclaw is seeking an IT System Engineer to support, maintain and develop our Swiss-based partner's IT infrastructure. The role focuses on hands-on administration of Windows and Linux servers and a broad, modern infrastructure.

You will work closely with the internal IT team, implement security measures, manage Active Directory and cloud services, and contribute to the reliability and continuous improvement of the IT environment.

Qualifications

• IT education or training in IT, Systems Engineering or comparable field, with at least 3–5 years of professional experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure Cloud, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, directory services, networks and Hyper-V virtualization.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VLAN and VPN, and backup systems.
• Independent, reliable and structured work style; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Windows and Linux servers, including Active Directory, Exchange, file servers and backup systems.
• Monitor, analyze and optimize the network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, VPN, WLAN and VLAN.
• Provide 1st and 2nd level IT support to employees and help resolve day-to-day technical issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, support processes and user instructions independently.
• Implement IT security policies, including patch management, antivirus/EDR and user rights management.
• Participate in IT infrastructure projects.
• Report to the Head of IT.

• You have completed relevant education or professional training in IT, Systems Engineering or a comparable field, combined with at least 3–5 years of professional experience.

• You have in-depth knowledge of Azure Cloud, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, directory services, networks and Hyper-V virtualization.

• You have knowledge of network environments, including TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VLAN and VPN, as well as backup systems.

• You understand device configurations in production environments.

• You work independently, reliably and in a structured way.

• You communicate confidently in English.
