Job summary

VML Enterprise Solutions in Katowice is seeking an IT Support Intern to deliver day-to-day helpdesk assistance to internal users on-site. You will assist with account and access support for highly available systems, and prepare equipment for users, including wiping disks and installing software.

Additional duties include updating the internal hardware database, coordinating with users for equipment handover, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Windows or MacOS.
• Basic knowledge of network protocols.
• General IT and technology knowledge.
• Willingness to learn and upskill.
• Analytical skills.
• Team player with problem solving attitude.
• Good written and verbal communication in English (B2) and Polish.

Intern to join our IT Support team in Katowice and provide day-to-day helpdesk support.

What you’ll get to do

• Onsite support for internal users
• Provide account/access support for highly available systems
• Preparation of equipment for users and returned by users - wiping disks, system and software installation

What you should have

• Basic knowledge of Windows or MacOS
• Basic knowledge of network protocols
• Overall knowledge about IT and technology
• Willingness to learn and upskill in innovative technologies
• Analytical skills
• Team player and problem-solving attitude
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Polish and English (at least B2)
• Availability: at least 24 hours per week, working on-site at our Katowice office.

• Experience with a ticketing system
