Roche is seeking an IT Software Engineer for the DIA R&D CDMA Product Area. You will balance high-level architecture with hands-on coding, building scalable, secure clinical product integrations while contributing to AI-enabled workflows.

The role requires 5+ years in software engineering and experience with enterprise SaaS platforms and clinical systems. A hybrid work model is offered with partial in-office collaboration in Poland.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, solution architecture, and systems integration.
• Proven experience managing the technical lifecycle of enterprise SaaS platforms, familiarity with clinical systems like CTMS and Veeva eTMF.

Responsibilities

• Own the Technical Vision: design and maintain the solution architecture for the clinical product portfolio.
• Platform Lifecycle Management: manage SaaS vendor releases, technical debt, and security compliance.
• Tech Stack Evolution: evaluate modern tooling and AI-assisted workflows to improve velocity.
• Engineering Excellence: enforce best practices across the lifecycle including CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and code reviews.
• Hands-on Engineering: write code, build API integrations, and solve complex technical hurdles.
• Agile & Lean Delivery: translate requirements into actionable tasks using Scrum/Kanban and LEAP.
• Risk Management: identify risks and track software quality metrics across environments.
• Bridge Tech and Science: translate technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
