Job summary

Signify Technology is partnering with a global technology consultancy on upcoming banking and financial services delivery projects. We’re looking for experienced IT Project Managers who take hands-on ownership of delivery and understand the commercial responsibilities involved in managing fixed-price projects.

You’ll manage technology projects from planning through delivery, working closely with client stakeholders and internal teams to keep projects on track and commercially successful.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering IT projects in banking/FS.
• Direct experience with fixed-price delivery, budgets and profitability.
• Hands-on resource planning, forecasting and risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

We’re looking to connect with experienced IT Project Managers who take hands-on ownership of delivery and understand the commercial responsibilities involved in managing fixed-price projects.

The role

You’ll manage technology projects from planning through delivery, working closely with client stakeholders and internal teams to keep projects on track and commercially successful.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning project scope, budgets, resources and delivery timelines.
• Managing scope changes and their impact on cost and delivery.
• Maintaining forecasts and monitoring project profitability.
• Identifying and managing risks, issues and dependencies.
• Coordinating delivery teams and balancing resource requirements.
• Managing senior client stakeholders, communicating progress and handling escalations.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience managing IT projects within banking or financial services.
• A strong preference for candidates who have directly managed fixed-price delivery, including budget control and profitability.
• Hands‑on experience with resource planning, forecasting and risk management.
• Confidence managing senior client relationships and difficult delivery conversations.
• Strong ownership, commercial awareness and communication skills.

Experience within a technology consultancy or systems integrator would be a strong advantage.

Specific project scope, contract terms and working arrangements will be discussed as requirements are finalised.
