SwingDev—a hippo company is seeking an IT Project Manager to join our Polish branch and drive software projects for an InsurTech platform. You will coordinate designers, developers, testers, and product managers across multinational teams, ensuring smooth Scrum cycles and timely delivery.

We value 2–6 years of PM experience in tech, strong English and Polish communication, and a collaborative, people-focused culture. Remote-friendly with flexible hours and international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Create projects that can revolutionize the insurance industry (mobile apps, web portals, data engines).
• Collaborate with designers, developers, testers, and product managers; facilitate Scrum rituals.
• Communicate with Product and Engineering Managers to shape products and tackle challenges.
• Define project scope, plan execution, and lead project teams across workstreams.
• Identify risks and dependencies; manage cross-team relationships.
• Mediate conflicts and ensure alignment across multiple teams.

What will you do?

• You’ll help create projects that can revolutionize the insurance industry. These projects may involve developing mobile applications, web portals, or large-scale data processing engines.
• You’ll work closely with a team of outstanding designers, developers, testers, Engineering and Product Managers. Your role will involve facilitating smooth Scrum routines and collaborating with our Polish-American teams.
• You’ll directly communicate with Product Managers and Engineering Managers to assist in the creation of exceptional products and address significant challenges.
• You’ll define project scope and develop an execution plan, leading project teams and managing relationships with our team’s projects.
• You’ll be managing risks and identify internal and cross team dependencies with team support.
• You’ll be responsible for mediating conflicts, clarifying roles and ensuring alignment across multiple workstreams.

• Have 2–6 years of experience in project/program management in tech environment.
• Have experience working in a software house or tech company.
• Are able to understand the company business and present goals of the project to the team.
• Are a well-rounded person with amazing written and spoken communication skills in English (C1/C2) and Polish (C2).
• Are able to stay calm and professional under pressure.
• Can juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball and communicate clearly with both tech and non-tech teams.
• Understand software development.
• Have experience working in an international environment (US ideally).
• Have worked in small environments (ideally startups/scale-ups).
• Are available in the afternoons – we prioritize everyone’s personal time and work-life fit, but since we work in multinational teams, occasional evening meetings may be necessary to ensure smooth communication across time zones.
