Job summary

Jabil is seeking an IT Manager to own the Lean & Operational Excellence Applications portfolio, overseeing ~30 applications across global sites. You will drive incidents, releases, and lifecycle work while coordinating with business stakeholders and contracted partners.

This hands-on leadership role requires experience in regulated manufacturing, ITIL processes and cross-team mentorship. The role reports to the IT Director, Global Applications, and offers exposure to a global manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 6–8 years IT application delivery/ support; at least 3 years leading a team.
• Fluent English; ITIL Foundation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day IT delivery for Lean & Operational Excellence applications, including incidents, service requests and bug fixes.
• Monitor ticket queue and weekly delivery reporting; drive root-cause resolution.
• Own change and release coordination for tower applications; maintain audit-ready records.
• Ensure application stability, performance, availability and compliance in a regulated manufacturing environment (GxP where applicable).
• Plan and execute application lifecycle work: upgrades, patching, version currency, retirement of unused apps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture enhancement demand and translate into clearly defined work packages.
• Direct internal and contracted resources; ensure scope, timeline and quality.
• Track run costs and contracted spend; flag variances and capacity constraints early.
• Provide inputs for business cases and IDEs for governance.
• Act as IT contact for Lean & Operational Excellence apps across sites and regions.
• Execute the tower roadmap in collaboration with IT Director and stakeholders.
• Work within enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
• Lead, coach and develop the tower’s internal team; manage performance.
• Oversee external resources; escalate contractual matters as needed.
• Select and develop staff to keep the tower properly staffed.
• Support audits with evidence and corrective actions.
• Adhere to all IT procedures and safety rules.
