Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an IT Compliance and Risk Specialist to shape and drive the IT Risk Management strategy across the unit. You will implement, measure, and continuously improve the framework, ensuring alignment with industry practices and regulatory requirements while fostering a risk-aware culture.

Key responsibilities include risk analysis, risk prioritization, monitoring, and remediation coordination; plus developing training for diverse stakeholders and strengthening stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in IT, with strong expertise in IT Risk Management, IT Compliance, Information Security, Audit, or related disciplines.
• Experience in risk assessments, control evaluations, audit support, and remediation management is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to translate risks into actionable recommendations.
• Self-motivated and well-organized with excellent prioritization, multitasking, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills with ability to work across global teams.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.

The Opportunity:

As an IT Compliance and Risk Specialist of one of Hitachi Energy Business Units, you will contribute to the definition, implementation, execution, and continuous improvement of the IT Risk Management strategy. You will ensure that the IT Risk Management framework is aligned with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives and ensure it is followed, while promoting a strong risk‑aware culture across the Business Unit IT organization.

The minimum salary for this position in the location specified below is as follows:

Italy, Milan: starting from 44 800 Euros gross per year as minimum salary.

The final offer will be based on candidate location, skills and qualifications, experience, and aligned with internal pay structures.
