Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland sp. zo. o. is seeking an IT Business Analyst Specialist for Production Applications (MES) to coordinate PLUS.NG rollout across production areas and liaise with central teams during rollout, commissioning and hypercare.

The role requires hands-on PLUS.NG experience, strong MES knowledge, and proficiency in Jira/Confluence for tracking tasks and documentation. English is required; German is a plus. Based in Jawor, Poland.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with PLUS.NG implementation, rollout or operational support.
• Strong understanding of MES systems, production IT environments and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of shopfloor integrations and production data flows.
• Experience in requirements management and GAP analysis.
• Familiarity with PLUS.NG modules (DWA, SQC, QUP, RECON, PFERD, PQD).
• Experience in commissioning, testing, go-live or ramp-up projects.
• Basic understanding of AWS, MO360 Production Cloud, Kubernetes or similar tech.

Description

Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland is preparing for the future launch of VAN production and the implementation of MES PLUS Next Generation (PLUS.NG), the next-generation Manufacturing Execution System. To support this transformation, we are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst Specialist who will act as a key coordinator between local production teams, central product teams and business stakeholders during the rollout, commissioning and stabilization phases.

• Coordinate local PLUS.NG rollout activities across production areas and supporting functions.
• Manage requirements, GAP analysis and implementation measures together with business and IT stakeholders.
• Support preparation and execution of testing, commissioning, go-live and hypercare activities.
• Coordinate dependencies related to system integrations, master data, infrastructure and shopfloor interfaces.
• Track progress, risks, actions and defects using Jira and Confluence.
• Act as the interface between local teams, production, engineering, quality and central product organizations.
• Transfer PLUS.NG knowledge and support the development of sustainable local support capabilities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with PLUS.NG implementation, rollout or operational support, ideally within a Mercedes-Benz production environment.
• Strong understanding of MES systems, production IT environments and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of shopfloor integrations, production data flows and manufacturing IT interfaces.
• Experience in requirements management, GAP analysis, measure definition and rollout coordination.
• Familiarity with PLUS.NG modules such as DWA, SQC, QUP, RECON, PFERD, PQD or related applications.
• Knowledge of PLUS Classic, GEPARD, QSYS or other manufacturing IT solutions is an advantage.
• Experience in commissioning, testing, go-live, hypercare or production ramp-up projects.
• Basic understanding of AWS, MO360 Production Cloud, Kubernetes, Kafka or similar technologies.
• Practical experience with Jira and Confluence for tracking tasks, defects and documentation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment.
• Understanding of VAN production processes and VAN Blueprint standards is an advantage.
• Knowledge of PLC Bridge, TMU telegrams and shopfloor automation topics is a plus.
• Fluent English; German language skills are an advantage.
