Job summary

RSB Automotive Consulting is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer focused on MES to support deployment, optimization and expansion of production lines in a new facility in Lublin. The role is on-site for a 6-month contract with possible extension.

You will coordinate MES implementation, validate requirements, integrate equipment with MES platforms and support training for production teams to ensure smooth adoption and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or manufacturing digitalization.
• Practical experience in MES implementation, integration or deployment projects within manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production flows and shop-floor operations.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to work directly with production systems, equipment and MES solutions.
• Experience working in cross-functional project teams.
• Ability to analyse production data, troubleshoot technical issues and identify improvement opportunities.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple implementation activities simultaneously.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Initiate corrective actions and contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and MES solutions.
• Support project planning, maintain technical documentation and follow up on implementation milestones and open actions.
• Assist with MES user training and operational readiness activities to ensure successful adoption of newly implemented solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing transformation and production optimization projects.
• Knowledge of production traceability, product genealogy, performance monitoring and manufacturing data management.
• Experience with ERP-MES integration and communication between MES and shop-floor systems.
• Practical experience integrating manufacturing machinery and production equipment with MES environments.
• Familiarity with manufacturing databases and basic data analysis techniques.
• Basic SQL knowledge for troubleshooting and verification of production transactions, interface messages and manufacturing data.
• Understanding of REST APIs, SOAP and other web-service technologies.
• Experience in automotive, industrial manufacturing or high-volume production environments.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Experience coordinating external suppliers, machinery providers and system integrators.
• Previous exposure to electronics manufacturing would be beneficial but is not required.
