Job summary

Eagle Eye Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Architect to design and evolve transactional systems for banking/fintech domains. The role blends software engineering with hands-on architecture, system integration and security considerations.

You will design REST APIs, work with microservices and distributed architectures, and guide AI/Gen AI integration while ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant enterprise solutions.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced IT Architect / Solution Architect to join a project focused on designing and evolving transactional systems in the banking / fintech sector.

This is a great opportunity for someone who combines a strong software engineering background with hands‑on architecture, system integration and banking domain experience.

What will you be working on?

• Designing architecture for new and existing transactional systems
• Defining integrations between banking and external systems
• Designing REST APIs and synchronous/asynchronous communication
• Working with microservices and distributed systems
• Defining solutions around security, IAM, SSO and RBAC
• Working with payment systems, interbank integrations, SWIFT MX/MT and AML
• Modernizing existing architectures and addressing technical debt, scalability and performance
• Evaluating and integrating AI / Generative AI into enterprise solutions
• Preparing architectural documentation and technical standards
• Working closely with developers, business, security, infrastructure and other stakeholders
• Supporting the Sales team with technical and architectural analysis

What are we looking for?

You should have:

• 10+ years of software development experience
• Proven experience as a Software / Solution / IT Architect
• Strong hands‑on experience with banking or fintech transactional systems
• Excellent knowledge of Java
• Strong experience with microservices, distributed and modular architectures
• Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Docker / containerization and CI/CD
• Strong understanding of architecture and design patterns
• Experience designing highly scalable, secure, reliable and highly available systems
• Experience with architecture modernization and optimization
• Practical experience with AI/ML or Generative AI solutions

Nice to have

• Insurance industry experience
• Cloud‑native architecture and cloud platforms
• Experience with LLM, RAG, AI Agents or enterprise AI platforms
