Job summary

Hiberus is seeking a Solution Architect to design and develop solution architectures for IT initiatives within the banking and payments domain. You will analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable technology solutions, define integration patterns and data flows, and prepare architecture documentation with UML diagrams and technical specifications.

Job description

• Design and develop solution architectures for IT initiatives within the banking and payments domain.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable technology solutions.
• Assess the impact of proposed changes on existing systems and identify applications requiring enhancement or modification.
• Define and document integration patterns, data flows, and system interactions.
• Prepare architecture documentation, including UML diagrams and technical specifications.
• Define infrastructure and non-functional requirements necessary for solution implementation.
• Support project teams in selecting technologies aligned with organizational standards and architectural principles.
• Review business analyses, technical designs, and project documentation to ensure architectural consistency.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, development teams, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.
• Participate in software vendor selection processes, including solution assessments and recommendations.
• Identify architectural risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices.

Experience required

• At least 2 years of experience in a Solution Architect or similar architecture-related role.
• Strong practical knowledge of UML and BPMN 2.0.
• Experience working with CASE tools, particularly Sparx Enterprise Architect.
• Good understanding of SOA, microservices, microfrontend architectures, and integration technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance business and technical perspectives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands‑on experience in at least two of the following technology areas:

• Understanding of data architecture and data modeling concepts.
• TOGAF® certification or completed architecture‑related training.
