Job summary

TeamQuest, a rapidly growing Polish IT solutions provider, seeks an IT Administrator in Lublin to join a dynamic team. You will configure and maintain production, development and test environments and collaborate with the development team and other departments.

You will manage servers, networks, and security, work with Linux systems (Debian/CentOS/Rocky), virtualization (XCP-NG/XenServer, KVM), and databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB). A proactive mindset and scripting in Bash are valued.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in a similar IT admin role.
• Proficient with Linux systems and services (IMAP, SMTP, VPN, DNS, SSH, WWW, FTP, DHCPD).
• Experience managing SAN/NAS storage.
• Administration of core networks and access control.
• Familiar with UTM devices and pfSense firewall.
• Experience with virtualization clusters (XCP-NG/XenServer, KVM).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools and Apache web servers.
• DB administration for PostgreSQL and MariaDB.
• Ability to create Bash scripts.
• Focus on network and system security.

TeamQuest is a rapidly growing Polish company engaged in the comprehensive HR consulting services, in particular in the recruitment of IT professionals. Our client is a leading provider of comprehensive IT solutions and services for the public administration, government, and corporate sectors.

Location: Lublin

Tasks

• preparing / configuring, managing production, development and test environments
• installing, maintaining and monitoring servers and services
• development and supervision of the computer network
• ensuring the security of the company's IT resources
• collaboration with the development team and other company departments

Requirements

• minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
• knowledge of Linux systems (Debian / Centos / Rocky Linux) as well as configuration of services such as: IMAP, SMTP, VPN, DNS, SSH, WWW, FTP, DHCPD etc.
• managing SAN arrays (HP / IBM) and NAS (Netgear)
• administration of access and core networks (TP-Link, Cisco, Juniper, Ubiquiti)
• familiarity with UTM-class devices (Fortigate) and pfSense software (firewall / routing / vpn)
• administering a cluster based on XCP-NG / XenServer virtualization and KVM
• knowledge of tools for monitoring network / server infrastructure
• experience with Apache web servers
• administration of PostgreSQL and MariaDB databases
• ability to create scripts in Bash
