Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking a design-driven engineer to lead turbocharger development in an international environment. You will oversee the full design lifecycle, coordinate with customers and suppliers, and perform rigorous technical analyses to meet internal and ISO standards.

The role requires CAD proficiency, GD&T expertise, and strong communication in English, with a mindset for teamwork and multitasking across several projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in international cooperation with customers and suppliers.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience; automotive industry is a plus.
• Proven experience with CAD systems and GD&T knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design lead and develop the turbocharger and components.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and suppliers.
• Perform technical analyses per general rules or internal standards.
• Identify best technical solutions for production changes under change management.
• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models per ISO norms and internal rules.
• Interact with technical centres and resolve technical issues.
• Control and track changes throughout the component life.
