Job summary

State Street in Krakow is seeking an Officer, Investment Data Operations to support Security Master and Benchmark data operations. You will onboard instruments, set up securities, maintain identifiers, and handle vendor and corporate actions updates.

You’ll contribute to data quality, exception management, and daily operational controls across investment data workflows. The role supports portfolio management, trading, risk, and analytics by ensuring trusted investment data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Management, Information Systems or related field.
• 4 to 7 years of experience in investment operations, reference data, market data, data operations or benchmark operations.
• Experience in financial services or asset management preferred.
• Knowledge of securities, identifiers, reference data attributes and benchmark data concepts.
• Advanced Excel required; SQL, workflow tools or data quality platform experience preferred.
• Ability to investigate data breaks and document remediation clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support instrument onboarding and security setup for Security Master Operations.
• Maintain core identifiers including CUSIP, ISIN, SEDOL, FIGI and related attributes.
• Validate vendor and corporate action updates impacting security reference data.
• Assist with benchmark onboarding, maintenance and validation activities.
• Review benchmark constituents, hierarchy data and rebalance-related exceptions.
• Investigate security and benchmark data exceptions and document remediation actions.
• Execute daily and periodic control checks and support SLA/KPI reporting.
