Job summary

Aviva Services Excellence Centre in Warsaw offers a 6-month paid internship in investment operations and financial data management. The role provides practical experience in daily data controls within Clearwater, plus hands-on involvement in reconciliations, audits and data-related projects.

The position suits students or graduates in finance-related fields with strong Excel and English skills, and a willingness to work in a hybrid setup from Poland.

Qualifications

• A student or graduate in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Mathematics or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Interest in investments, financial markets and financial data.
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large sets of data.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Availability for 3-4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Performing daily investment data controls within the Group’s financial assets database (Clearwater), with support from control managers
• Supporting reconciliations and reviews of cash suspense accounts, debtors and creditors balances, stock and cash reconciliations, as well as investment data attribute controls
• Using investment knowledge to support the review, interpretation and validation of data quality with internal and external stakeholders
• Cooperating with the provider of Aviva Group’s financial assets database (Clearwater)
• Supporting audit-related activities and working with auditors when required
• Participating in finance and data-related projects based on business needs
• Assisting the team with other ad hoc tasks and responsibilities assigned by the manager
